Shelley Holcomb (b. 1985, Starkville, MS) utilizes a variety of media, including video, installation, large-scale paintings and works on paper, sculpture, performance and cultural experiments. Her works seeks to turn a mirror towards its viewer, their societal surroundings, and their own behaviors. She holds a Painting BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. Holcomb’s works have been exhibited in multiple institutions including the Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh, NC, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, CA, the Jepson Center in Savannah, GA, Attleboro Arts Museum, and Gagosian Gallery, Beverly Hills.
